Olive Leaf (Olea europaea) – The Crown of Peace

Silvery, leathery, and enduring, Olive Leaves are botanicals of victory and reconciliation. Ruled by the Sun and the element of Air (and sometimes Earth), their energy is solar, dignified, and ancient. They are historically used by practitioners to signal the end of a "war"—whether that conflict is internal, within a home, or with an outside force.

In magickal tradition, Olive leaves are used to "crown" a successful endeavor and to ensure that peace, once gained, is maintained. They are a powerful ward against malice and "the evil eye," acting as a spiritual stabiliser that keeps the practitioner's energy calm, cool, and collected under pressure.
